There is no question that the LGBTQ+ senior community has very unique needs when it comes to receiving care in the home. LGBTQ+ aging issues are an epidemic, and we at Care Assist Inc. identified home and community-based care as a solution. The home is the safest environment, where the “closet” should no longer exist, and there are many opportunities to meet the needs of LGBTQ+ seniors.
